Our
Challenge
SmartLands distributes open source IoT devices and clean energy systems to hotels, hospitals, property managers and senior living communities. Its website struggled to explain that range. Products for very different industries sat together without clear paths, dealers had no direct way to register and visitors had to work to find the right solution for their sector. The client needed a structured website that speaks to each industry and brings in dealer and sales inquiries.
Solution & Result
Executed a full-scale website revamp, focusing on structure, user experience and SEO. Key improvements included:
Organized the site by industry with dedicated pages for hotels, hospitals, property management, residential smart homes, recreational technology and senior living.
Revamped UI/UX design with clear device categories for security cameras, emergency devices, lighting control and access control, plus a simple three-step path from inquiry to installation that works on desktop and mobile.
Built dealer and lead capture paths through a Dealer Registration page for MSPs, MVPDs and VARs, an Inquire button in the header and a contact form on the homepage.
Implemented SEO best practices, including optimized meta descriptions, structured headings and industry-focused blog content.
Results
The overhaul gave SmartLands a website that guides each type of buyer to the right solution.
